Light and Shadow by Katrina Brayshaw. – Thursday 27th August – Monday 31st August

An exhibition of photographs of landscapes, seascapes and other idiosyncratic images.

For many years Katrina has been an enthusiastic landscape photographer journeying to wild and remote places with variable weather conditions, attempting to capture moody and exciting photographs. Recently Katrina has developed an interest in black and white photography and in this, her third exhibition, is showing images with a strong interplay of tones ranging from pure blacks, through grey tones to pure white.

The number6 Studio Gallery is a community arts space in Pateley Bridge, Nidderdale. Local artists and makers are welcomed to hire the space to develop their own practice, run workshops or courses, meet regularly as creative groups or exhibit their work.

The space is managed by the Number 6 Studio Gallery CIC, a non-profit organisation that intends for members of the community of all ages to: 1) realise the importance of being creative, 2) develop friendships and connect with one another and 3) feel a positive impact on their health and well-being.
