Sherry Doyal is a contemporary basket maker and botanical artist. Throughout 2026 Sherry is participating in @woodwaterweave a scheme aimed at carrying forwards endangered split wood basket skills in oak, hazel, sweet chestnut and ash. This involves processing from coppice to basket.

Sherry continues to support her interest in plant material objects with botanical sketch books and nature printing including cyanotypes on paper and textiles.

Sherry works from her workshop Tanacetum and Bravo Studios, both in Knaresborough. Woodwaterweave is based in Cumbria and led by Lorna Singleton.
