Paul Mirfin is a contemporary British oil painter, musician, and former railway conductor based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. He spent 23 years working for Northern Rail, where the changing landscapes viewed from his train cab deeply inspired his creative vision.Mirfin first took up oil painting during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to manage anxiety.
