Henshaws is a charity supporting people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities. Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre offers creative workshops to Artmakers in pottery, papier mache, printmaking, textiles, jewellery, mosaic, woodwork, performing arts, music, horticulture, forest schools and multi-sensory. The aim of the workshops is to provide a safe, supportive, diverse and creative space which is accessible to all. We cater for many levels of skill and understanding and work with individuals to develop their personal practice and skills enabling creative expression, independence and a sense of self. Artmakers are empowered to express themselves and make their own creative decisions, whilst learning new skills and forming friendships.
