“I paint the way I do because because I see the world as a dimension of shadows, shapes, contradictions and ever-changing fragile boundaries.” Neil Simone.
The paintings of artist Neil Simone have the ability to transcend reality allowing the viewer to interpret what they see from their own personal perspective.
Celebrating his 50th year as a full time artist, Neil’s unique conceptual themes include the passage of time, the ever changing seasons and how we can physically be in one place, yet in our thoughts be somewhere else. How one idea can lead to another and light and shade creates a three dimensional illusion of reality.
Neil’s paintings invite us to see beyond the perceived reality and expand our horizons.
