The walk to the study barn is part of the experience – leaving the busy world behind and experiencing nature.
From the small iron Bewerley gate the track is uphill, with some steps. If accessing from Peat Lane, via the wooden gate, it is more level and some mobility scooters should be able to navigate it: go past the pond and another 400 yards. - 11am to 4pm Sat/Sun 19/20th, and Sat/Sun 26/27 August
- No parking on site except for disabled (please phone 07860 599082 to discuss first). If able-bodied, please park in Pateley Bridge and walk up.
- It is a 400 yard walk over uneven ground but most mobility scooters and wheelchairs can make it if accompanied - please e-mail in advance for advice and special parking. disabled access
- No refreshments on site. Limited toilet facilities (off-grid, recycled rain water) - please use public toilet elsewhere before visit if possible.
