Art at St Andrew’s Church, Blubberhouses
About
-
Blubberhouses church is iconic building sited above the A59 at Blubberhouses. Consecrated in 1865, designed by Edward Buckton Lamb, the building retains all the original features of this ‘rogue’ architect’s work. The windows have been renovated and are stunning. There are historical booklets available featuring other churches designed by Lamb. Several Nidd Art Trail artists have shown here for years, forming a friendly cohort. . If artists which to leave their work, the Friends steward, and handle any sales on their behalf.
