Duncan Clayton

Duncan Clayton produces paintings in oil, pen and ink, and pyrography. The oil paintings are mainly still life pictures, which are mounted in specially turned hardwood frames to supply a contrasting effect. Other pictures are produced using a pyrography technique in which the picture is finely drawn, then pyrographed / burnt into the wood veneer before being completed by painting with water based wood stains.

Smaller items are made in different coloured hardwoods, and are mainly designed to follow an owl theme / These consist of money boxes, pencil, pencil holders, and keyrings.
