My love of wool craft began a few years ago when I took an afternoon class in York to learn to crochet. I was later given a felted rabbit kit as birthday gift, which opened my eyes to a whole new world of crafting possibilities. Before I knew it, I had a spinning wheel, embroidery books galore and drawers bursting with yarns, fibre batons, ribbons and threads along with my colletions of leaves, pinecones and heather sticks.
I am often inspired by the magical nature of britains woodlands, thick with moss and mushrooms, and moorlands with heather as far as the eye can see, both of which are steeped in ancient history and folklore.
My work is all a bit of fun, learning as I go.
