It’s time for us to share your CREATIVE lockdown experiences!

Starting on Yorkshire day, 1st August, we’ll showcase the amazing creativity that has emerged during this extraordinary period in our lives. The Mill will feature an exciting collection of works from Northern Artists (paintings, textiles, sculptures, ceramics) in our Annual Summer Salon Exhibition, and we’re also planning to include additional creative achievements from the lockdown isolation such as creative writing, poetry, musical compositions, garden projects.
Built in 1808, our converted flax mill nestled in a beautiful yard in Knaresborough makes the perfect art backdrop. There is so much to discover inside, with 3 whole floors to explore.
The gallery is open to visitors throughout August, Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. But you may also like to mill about our online gallery where you will find
a unique collection of carefully curated paintings, prints, cards, sculptures & ceramics by acclaimed local artists.
