An extra venue on the 2019 Nidd Arts Trail, Horticap will be exhibiting a selection of work created by students on the theme of sewing. Using recycled hessian coffee bean sacks (kindly donated by Taylors of Harrogate) and donated wool the students will be displaying an array of colourful individual work.

Neil Simone will be opening his new studio gallery in the Old Chapel, Glasshouses HG3 5DY on 25th April 2019. Opening Thursday to Sunday 11am to 4pm or by appointment. He will also be open during the NiddArt Trail from 16th to 26th August 2019.

Art in the Mill will be opening during the NiddArt Trail in August 2019. They have a variety of crafts and paintings on three floors of the old mill in Green Dragon Yard, Knaresborough.
Bill Spencer will be showing his carved walking sticks in Ramsgill village in upper Nidderdale Aug 16th to 26th 2019 from 10am to 1pm each day.
The Embroiderers’ Guild will be exhibiting on 17th August 2019 at Pateley Bridge Methodist Church.
They are part of the NiddArt Trail 2019 with some works following the Leisure theme.
The Embroiderers’ Guild exists to build awareness of stitch and textile art.
Annual Flower Festival
Bewerley Grange Chapel dates from 1494 and was restored in 1965. The three day flower festival theme was “Beatrix Potter”. The displays, arranged by local people, illustrated well-known characters from the books.

Art and craft exhibition in Summerbridge Methodist Church, Aug 27 10am to 4pm.
Display of works by members of the congregation and the local community. Displays included the results from two art workshops run by volunteers, on the theme of water, during the first week of the NiddArt Trail.
River of Life – Created at the beginning of the morning service by members of the Summerbridge congregation who then wrote prayers on the paper flowers, floated them on the water to create shape and added them to the river of life.

Sally Smith makes pots in her workshop in Kirkby Malzeard. She has produced some interesting new glazed pots based on revived techniques and some new dishes.
Sally has plenty of glazed items to show visitors on her studio open days.
