Arts Bus Trip is to Farnley Hall, Otley – 2nd May 2018
Joseph Mallord William Turner visited the Hall for the best part of twenty-five years, and his paintings were inspired by the scenes he enjoyed in Wharfedale. Ruskin’s words attest to the depth of the connection between the artist and the place.
This trip is limited to 16 places and is full. Another trip is planned for Wednesday 12th September.
Arts Bus Trip to Richmond and Bowes Museum – Saturday 14th July 2018
Richmond features Richmond Castle, a Georgian Theatre, the Green Howards Regimental Museum and a fine market square.
The Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle has extensive collections of paintings, textiles and pottery as well as pictures of BFG, Cat Walking fashions and the Silver Swan at 2pm

The Arts Bus is open to all. Children under 16 can come if accompanied by an adult. The cost is £15 per adult. The bus starts in Pateley Bridge showground coach park. Car park fee over 4 hours is £1.80. Nidderdale Art Trail cannot take responsibility for people at the venues or events outside its control.
